Although there is no major shopping centre in Kangaroo Point, residents are well catered for, for their everyday shopping needs through a number of convenience stores and small supermarkets including IGAX-press, Foodworks, Coles in Woolloongabba and Woolworths in Spring Hill.

Westfield Carindale is the major shopping centre for the region, just 15 minutes’ drive away. The centre is home to approximately 300 specialty retailers, food outlets, cafes, restaurants and professional services. For entertainment, then the cinema complex is the place to head to catch the latest movie release.
The Story Bridge Hotel

Kangaroo Point is also home to two of Brisbane’s most famous pubs – The Story Bridge Hotel and the Pineapple Hotel. Both hotels also have long-held reputations as being amongst the finest steak restaurants in Brisbane, and is definitely worth a venture if you don’t fancy cooking at home.
