Surrounded by the spacious outdoors, the rapidly growing suburb of Box Hill offers the ideal environment to achieve the dream home you want. It's located around 50km north-west of Sydney’s Central Business District. The suburb has been gaining interest from buyers with its expansive land and a developing community. Local Demographics

Box Hill is part of the progressive Hills Shire area and has welcomed a variety of residents particularly, first home buyers, established families and those looking to upgrade. The Australian Bureau of Statistics has calculated around 1,000 occupants with the population size forecasted to steadily increase in the following years. The median age is 42 years old with the majority of the population sitting in the 40 to 50 years old age group. There are about 300 dwelling structures that are mainly made up of detached housing in the area. 

Travel & Infrastructure

Right within the vicinity, passengers are looked after with multiple, easily accessible public transport services. The Vineyard and Riverstone Train Stations are both just a 4 to 5km drive, with a direct route all the way to the city centre. Alternatively, there are also bus stops along Boundary Road serviced by Bus routes to the city and neighbouring suburbs. For a smooth journey, Windsor Road allows drivers to easily navigate their way around neighbouring suburbs and the CBD. 


The area is well equipped with plenty of retail stores and supermarkets conveniently located nearby. The Box Hill City Centre is the key retail and services precinct with many brands and services to choose from. On the other hand, the Rouse Hill Town Centre and Riverstone Village Shopping Centre offer a range of entertainment and dining options just under 10km away. Love a bit of homewares shopping? The HomeCo at Rouse Hill can also cater to your homeware needs with the Hills Hub Homemaker Centre opening in 2022, is expected to be an exciting new addition to the area.

Schools & Recreation

With a handful of schools just around the corner, families and students of various year levels are well taken care of. To name a few, the Vineyard Public School, Norwest Christian College and St John’s Primary School are all under 6km away by car. The younger ones can attend the Ready 2 Learn Early Education Centre or the Rouse Hill Preschool Kindergarten which are both less than a 9km trip. For those embarking on higher education, the Western Sydney University Nirimba Campus and the TAFE Castle Hill Campus offer countless courses to choose from.

What’s going on in Box Hill?

For a fun day at the playground, the Slide and Orchard Park are open for all with Wheelie Park at The Gables right next door. Enjoy a delicious brunch or dinner with friends at quality restaurants and cafes just further down the road towards Rouse Hill. At the popular Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park, you can visit all kinds of much-loved animals including birds, reptiles and mammals. To add, the Museums Discovery Centre is about 15km away with exhibits and programs to explore.
