Data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics shows the median age of Busselton residents is 42, just above the national average of 38 years. With approximately 6,744 families residing in Busselton, children aged 0-14 years account for 19.7%, and people aged 65 years and over represent 21.5% of the population.
