Construction Updates at iBuyNew

If you have bought a property through iBuyNew, you can stay up to date with the latest construction status of your development through our useful property construction updates.

As you should already know, buying off the plan properties differ from established properties as they have yet to be built or are already underway. Construction of your chosen development might have already started when you bought your off the plan apartment, or the developer might still be waiting to achieve its pre-sales target before work can begin.

We have over 100 active developments across New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland and try to provide the latest build progress for each development that is currently under construction.

Our construction updates are aimed to give you the most accurate and up to date information on the building progress and provide you with peace of mind that your property is on its way to completion.

Each of our developments have different build times so the construction length will vary for every project that we handle. We also use a large number of different developers and each developer will provide different degrees of construction updates.

Within our construction updates we try to provide recent images of where the development is at and whether the development is still on track to meet its anticipated completion date. However, you should also bear in mind that the weather and many other factors can also affect build times and the construction of each development. You should however not let weather delays scare you though as that is what the sunset clause is for, to protect both you and the developer for any unexpected delays which could occur and slow down or halt the development progress.

In such a situation that there is a delay, then our professional Property Consultants will be in touch with you to keep you informed of the situation.

Typically, our boutique properties will take approximately 9-12 months to complete, whilst a high-rise development could take two years or more, depending on the building design, building height and the number of additional facilities such as car park, roof top, swimming pools etc. You should have been made aware of the estimated completion date before signing your contract, but if you are unsure as to what this is we can also update you with this important information. You can also find this in your contract.

At iBuyNew, we try to provide construction updates for each of our Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane developments every three to six months and this will also depend on how often the developer will update us on their progress so far.

If you are unable to find a construction update for your development and would like to know how your property is progressing, feel free to contact our friendly Property Consultants on 1300 123 463 who will be more than happy to help.
