Alex Caraco
Executive Director & CEO
Alex Caraco is the Executive Director & CEO of iBuyNew.

Formerly the CEO & Master Franchisor of Coldwell Banker Australia for 11 years as well as a Director of an ASX Company, Alex has a wealth of knowledge with over 35 years’ experience within the residential real estate market.

A licensed real estate agent in NSW, QLD and WA, Alex’s success can be seen throughout the world and in the past few years has spanned thousands of sales, concentrating particularly on China.
Mark Mendel
Founder and Head of Strategy
Mark is the Founder and Head of Strategy of iBuyNew.

Since launching the business, Mark has fast turned it into the number one online new property group in Australia.

With Degrees from UNSW (Bachelor of Building Construction Management) and Macquarie University (Masters of Commerce -Finance), Mark has his finger on the pulse when it comes to finding the right properties for iBuyNew clients.

When Mark isn't at work (which isn't very often), he could be found in the kitchen cooking up a storm and spending time with family and friends.
Rafer Gao
Business Development Manager
With a background in Biotech and Food Science, Rafer decided not to follow a traditional academic pathway. Instead, he focused on a sales and marketing career where prior to working at iBuyNew he was the top sales representative for Nespresso in Australia Oceania Region and Ausin Group Australia. 

Since joining iBuyNew, Rafer has devoted himself in developing channel partners nationally and internationally, whilst maintaining these strong relationships and has an exceptionally loyal clientele. Rafer prides himself on not only his unparalleled professional track record and high ethical standards, but for being an honest, hard-working man who does absolutely everything in his power to ensure his clients’ success.

Peter Scott
Senior Property Consultant
Peter first started in property back in 2009 where he worked his way up in a few short years to becoming one of the best in the industry. He is well known around the property circles in Melbourne and is the go-to-guy for anything related to inner Melbourne apartments. He has worked at some of the largest property companies in Australia and is one of our Melbourne Specialists.

Originally from Sydney, Peter moved to Melbourne and knows the Melbourne property market inside out. Having purchased a number of homes and investments, Peter has a wealth of experience at his fingertips when it comes to buying and investing in properties. He loves working with clients to show them exactly how easy it is to buy property whether they are first home buyers or investors.

When not at work, Peter loves watching his 3 kids play hockey for Representative, Victorian State and National teams.
Sheri Mendel
Senior Property Consultant
Sheri has had a long history helping clients with their financial objectives. Originally starting as a Chartered Accountant, Sheri then moved into the world of Financial Planning where she equipped herself with the knowledge to help clients build long term wealth. In addition to Sheri's CA, Sheri also has a Bachelor of Commerce (Majoring in Accounting) from Macquarie University and has also completed her Financial Planning Qualifications (PS146).
Emily Long
Property Consultant
Originating from mainland China, Emily relocated to Adelaide in 2005, before moving to Melbourne for University where she gained a Bachelor degree of Information Technology and System, followed by a Masters of Business Information System.

Fluent in Mandarin and English, with a good understanding of Cantonese, Emily prides herself on being able to communicate with a wide range of people of different ages and backgrounds.

Emily’s honesty and reliability are key contributors to her success and is an integral member of the team. She looks forward to assisting you with your next property purchase.
Josh Johnston
Senior Property Consultant
Josh has gathered a wealth of sales experience in his 20 years working in the real estate industry both in Australia and internationally. 

Consistently striving for excellence, Josh has total customer focus and enjoys ensuring his clients’ financial future by planning and implementing investment goals through property. A friendly, charismatic personality allows him to easily relate to all walks of life and his goal is to build positive and lasting relationships with a view to long term client wealth creation. 

Originally from Melbourne, Josh moved to Sydney in 2015 in search of the next challenge (and warmer weather), so when he’s not at work, you are likely to find him enjoying the outdoors either riding his motorbike or playing cricket or Ultimate Frisbee.
Daniel Rastoka
Client Services Manager
Daniel is a true Sydneysider, having lived in Sydney most of his life. He first entered the property sector in 2006, where he began working in property development sales and marketing before moving into customer relations and contracts management.

Responsible for looking after iBuyNew’s clients, Daniel absolutely loves helping others achieve their own property goals and has already invested in property himself. A born communicator, Daniel’s polite and friendly personality helps to resolve any conflicts and can negotiate on your behalf.

Outside of work, Daniel loves to sing and act.
Kate Beckett
Marketing Co-ordinator
Kate works across the range of properties providing our consultants with relevant information to pass on to their clients.

Kate is a young dynamic individual and able to assist our team and clients efficiently with regular project updates.

When Kate isn't at work, she enjoys shopping, hanging out with friends and keeping an eye on the property market.
Fiona Bennett
Content Writer & Social Media Manager
Originating from England, Fiona took the plunge to broaden her horizons and relocated to Sydney in January 2014. Whilst in the UK, Fiona gained a 2:1 BA (Hons) degree in English Language and Linguistics from the University of the West of England as well as a Diploma in Copywriting.

With a keen interest in the property market, Fiona uses her passion for writing to create informative property articles, email content and suburb profiles to engage clients, as well as keeping them regularly updated through social media channels.

When not working, Fiona loves to seek out new restaurants and bars to tantalise her tastebuds, and can also be found scaling up rock faces and climbing walls!
Chelsea Yan
Originating from Xian in China, Chelsea first arrived in Sydney in 2010 to study at the University of Sydney where she obtained her Master of Commerce (Major in Accounting).

With over three years experience in Accounting, Chelsea has an extensive knowledge of the Financial Reporting Standards and taxation and is an integral member of the team. Responsible for all aspects of accounting work, Chelsea prides herself on her high attention to detail, whilst is able to build close relationships with clients with ease.

When not busy with numbers, Chelsea enjoys gardening, cooking and photography. She also speaks fluent Mandarin and absolutely loves seafood.
